Key Responsibilities
- Daily Support: Manage meal preparation, cleaning, and transportation for young people while maintaining a safe, positive environment.
- Care Delivery: Implement individual care plans to promote emotional and social development.
- Safety & Compliance: Administer medication, maintain regulatory records, and address safeguarding concerns promptly.
- Relationship Building: Establish consistent boundaries and foster positive engagement with families and external agencies.
Candidate Requirements
- Essential Experience: Prior experience in children's homes, social work, or assisted living is required.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of child development, safeguarding practices, and care regulations.
- Specialist Care: Experience working with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and physical/sensory disabilities.
- Attributes: A positive attitude toward de-escalation practices and a commitment to personal development and training.
Work Pattern & Benefits
- Shift Pattern: Full-time, Monday-Sunday (Rotational).
