Salary: £24,309 - £29,500 per annum (dependent on role and qualifications)

About the Role:
As a Residential Support Worker, you will create a safe, nurturing, and supportive home environment for children and young people to grow and develop. You will provide personalised care, guidance, and advocacy as part of a 24/7 service.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing flexible, responsive, and high-quality person-centred care to children and their families.
- Building and maintaining positive and professional relationships with the children and young people you support.
- Enabling children to access and participate in a range of stimulating and safe activities and experiences.
- Supporting young people with personal care, administering medication, and undertaking routine household tasks (e.g., cooking, shopping) to promote independence.
- Ensuring the views and needs of children are heard and responded to by promoting communication and participation.
- Contributing to the development of care plans, maintaining up-to-date records, and attending service planning meetings.

- Providing lead case and care planning management, including assessment and risk management.
- Co-ordinating with multi-agency professionals and producing written reports.

For the Residential Support Worker role: You are willing to achieve the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) within two years of starting your post.
For the Senior Residential Support Worker role: You must already hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
What We Offer:
A competitive salary package that rewards your qualifications and experience.
- Residential Support Worker: £24,309 - £26,099 per annum. The typical starting salary is £24,309. A higher salary is offered to candidates who are qualified or actively working towards their Level 3 Diploma.
- Senior Residential Support Worker: £27,400 - £29,500 per annum. The typical starting salary is £28,000. Holding the Level 3 Diploma is essential for this role.
