• Location: Onsite at a Specialist Unit North West

• Schedule: 2 days per week (Flexible days to suit your availability)

• Hours: 09:00 - 15:00 (Perfect for work-life balance)

Key Responsibilities

Your primary focus will be providing dedicated tracheostomy care for a student to ensure their safety and well-being throughout the day. Essential tasks include:

• Maintaining a patent airway at all times.

• Emergency and routine tracheostomy tube change.
  Stoma, inner cannula and tapes care.
  Oral and tracheal suction

• Performing routine and emergency stoma care and cleaning.

• Implementing strict infection control measures.

• Providing professional clinical support within a specialist educational/care setting.

Requirements

• Current NMC Pin (Band 5 RGN / Adult / Child / District Nurse).

• Proven experience in Tracheostomy care is non-negotiable for this role.

• Reliability and the ability to start at short notice.
