        My client, an established company who serves the Semiconductor and Microelectronics industry, is looking for a Test Technician to start at their site in Dursley as soon as possible. As a Test Technician you will be responsible for:Performing functional testing on the products that are manufactured by the company.Carrying out basic de-bug and fault finding.Assisting with calibration and/or maintenance actions and fault finding of the engineering test equipmentFirst line fault finding on burn-in boards and driver cards.Assisting with the design and manufacture of board test equipment.Assisting with inspection of company products.To be considered for the role, you will need to have:An interest in electronics, industry experience would be an advantage but not essentialGood attention to detailPractical and technical aptitudeA minimum requirement of GCSE's in English, Mathematics and Science, grades A-CYou will receive a salary of £18,000-£20,000, depending on experience, over a 37.5 hour week. The role will begin as a temporary position and will go permanent after the first two months. If successful you get the opportunity to begin your career as a Test Technician and be guided by some of the best minds at the business.
