The Materials Management and Logistics Manager will work closely with the senior managers of Procurement and as required within the resource Directorate and report directly to the Head of Procurement to ensure the provision of a high quality of service to users.You will play a leading role in assisting the Head of Procurement through the effective management of inventory to make effective use of the finances.Main duties will include.Provide advice to the Head of Procurement and to all those carrying managementresponsibilities.Contribute to the business planning activities of the organization and to the implementationof new initiatives.Share in the responsibility for the achievement of excellent communications withfinance and procurement staff, workplace staff and outside agencies.Provide support to all those with budgetary responsibility, to ensure that they caneffectively exercise control.
