      Are you an experienced Purchasing Manager looking for a new challenge with a a progressive company and market leader in their specialised field?Then please read on! Your role: To lead the purchasing and stores teams to ensure the on-time delivery of materials to achieve the production plan.You will regularly review and analyse buying patterns and markets to ensue effective purchasing decisions.Purchasing operations will include but are not limited to; monthly reporting to the senior team, vendor assessments, negotiating and agreeing terms, discounts and rebates with suppliers.You will needto have experience of working in a similar roleexperience of leading a team,excellent negotiation skillsbe computer literate with excellent working knowledge of ERP/MRP/SAP systemsideally a CIPS qualification.The hours of work are flexible but due to the nature of the role, it suits an early stater, to ensure the stores department has a manager present - so ideally a 7am/7:30am start, with a 40 hour week worked.
