      Ranstad's Business Support team are working with a great sporting client based in London who are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager. This is a permanent role to start ASAP.Salary: £30-35K basic plus 25% bonus schemeThe main purpose of the BDM role is to be responsible for proactively driving a significant revenue contribution and winning new clients across all business areas.Duties will include:* Pro-actively generate new leads, lead client meetings and site visits resulting in confirmed new business* Take ownership of all social media channels* Manage and develop existing agency and client accounts to achieve and increase share of their spend across the business.* To communicate effectively and timely with all internal colleagues and external clients* Ensure CRM system is updated daily with accurate weekly reports produced * Maintain excellent product knowledge at all times by providing competitor intelligence/market intelligence and contribute to all sales meetings Skills and experience required for the Business Development role:* Proven Business Development / Sales / BD experience, ideally working within the sporting, leisure or events sector* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Computer literate and confident in MS Excel; Word and Outlook* Passionate about sales with a personal drive to succeed Randstad Business Support acts as an employment business when supplying temporary staff and as an employment agency when introducing candidates for permanent employment with a client.
