What You'll Be Doing:
You'll be the backbone of our sales ledger, ensuring impeccable financial integrity and cash flow. Your key responsibilities include:
- End-to-end Sales Ledger management and daily reconciliation across PMS and Sage 200.
- Ensuring daily posting of receipts and payments, meticulously resolving any unallocated items.
- Performing weekly and month-end bank reconciliations with high accuracy.
- Collaborating closely with internal Finance Teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain clean debtor balances.
- Importing and fully reconciling revenue files, ensuring data matches management accounts.
- Producing and distributing debtors reports, actively following up on outstanding invoices.
- Managing the client refunds mailbox, ensuring timely and accurate processing (preventing errors!).
- Adhering strictly to month-end closing timetables and supporting Purchase Ledger.
- Continuously identifying and resolving ledger discrepancies to keep records pristine.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven, hands-on experience in a Sales Ledger/Accounts Receivable role, ideally within a group structure.
- Degree educated or AAT Level 3/4 qualified.
- Strong practical experience with Sage 200 is essential; PMS experience is a significant plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships across departments.
- Highly organised and capable of managing a busy workload to meet critical deadlines.
