The Role
We are looking for a Sales Service Specialist to join a busy and collaborative team in Maidenhead. In this role, you will be responsible for processing customer orders efficiently and accurately while providing excellent support to customers, sales teams, and engineers.
You will also handle enquiries relating to order status, deliveries, pricing, and product availability, ensuring customers receive timely and professional service.
Key Responsibilities
Process customer orders received via email and EDI systems.
Enter and manage orders in SAP (Symphony) within allocated timeframes.
Handle telephone and email enquiries from internal and external customers regarding deliveries, pricing, product availability, and order queries.
Liaise with internal teams in Maidenhead, as well as colleagues in Germany and Ireland, to resolve queries and support order fulfilment.
Provide general administrative support to the Sales Service department.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to departmental projects.
Support the sales team by gaining insight into customer needs and key issues, including occasional customer visits with sales representatives or engineers.
Assist with other tasks and responsibilities within the Sales Service team as required.
Skills & Experience
Excellent communication and telephone skills.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to prioritise tasks and make decisions under pressure.
Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to routine tasks and projects.
SAP experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
