We are looking for a committed Behavior Support Worker to join our dedicated team. You will work closely with students, teachers and other staff to provide essential support to those who need extra help with their learning.

Key Responsibilities of this role include:

• Support the operation and monitoring of the Internal Exclusion and Restorative rooms as appropriate
• Under supervision provide mentoring and tailored literacy and numeracy catch-up interventions which are evidenced based and therapeutic to students on a 1:1 and small group basis
• Support the effective operation of the on-call system to remove students from lessons as necessary
• Supervise and monitor the movement of students around the site during lesson times returning students who are absent without permission to classrooms
• Supervise students across the site during lunch time

What we're looking for:

• Eligibility to work in UK
• Enhanced DBS or willing to get new one
• Should be confident in setting boundaries and using positive reinforcement
• Must have excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Must be flexible, proactive and reliable
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
• Can remain calm under pressure and respond with empathy
