Are you an enthusiastic Science Teacher looking for flexibility, variety, or your next long-term challenge in the Torbay area?

We are seeking dedicated Secondary Science Teachers to support a variety of secondary schools across Brixham and the wider Torbay region. Whether you are looking for the ultimate flexibility of day-to-day supply (where you can focus purely on teaching and leave at the end of the school day) or you want to sink your teeth into a long-term position with full teaching responsibilities, we have the perfect role for you.

We welcome applications from experienced teachers as well as Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

What We Offer:

The ultimate choice: Choose between flexible day-to-day cover or stable long-term placements.
Fair, transparent pay:
- Earn £130 - £160 per day for roles with no planning and preparation required. Walk in, teach, and walk out!
- Earn Paid to Scale for long-term roles that involve full planning, preparation, and marking responsibilities.
Support: A dedicated consultant to help you navigate your placements and find the right schools for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and structured Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (covering Biology, Chemistry, and Physics).
Maintain a positive and safe learning environment, managing classroom behaviour effectively.
For long-term roles: Engage in full planning, preparation, assessment, and parents' evenings as required by the school's department.
Follow the school's policies regarding safeguarding, grading, and behavioural expectations.

What You Need:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent, recognised UK teaching qualification.
A strong subject knowledge of the secondary Science curriculum.
Flexibility, adaptability, and a passion for inspiring young minds.
An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
Right to work in the UK.
