Randstad Education is currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to join a highly regarded secondary school in Brentwood. Whether you are looking for a full-time, term-time position or flexible daily supply bookings, this role involves leading lessons across key stages using pre-set plans, keeping pupils focused, engaged, and supported throughout the school day.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across various subjects in Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school standards and expectations.
- Create a positive, structured, and safe learning environment.
- Collect completed classwork and return it to subject departments.
What You Need
- Prior experience working with young people (e.g. teaching assistant, youth worker, sports coach, or graduate tutor).
- Strong communication, presence, and classroom management skills.
- Flexibility, confidence, and a proactive attitude.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
