Cover Supervisor

£100 - £120 a day
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Secondary Cover Supervisor to join our team. Your role will be essential in maintaining positive learning environments and supporting secondary pupils during teacher absences.

Responsibilities:
- Supervising pre-set lessons and managing classroom behavior effectively across Key Stages 3 & 4
- Create a safe and productive learning environment during teacher cover
- Collect completed student work and deliver feedback to the regular classroom teacher
- Ability to communicate with, engage, and encourage students across various secondary subjects
- Implement school behavior policies consistently and fairly
- Ensure all classroom health and safety guidelines are followed
- Adapt quickly to different school environments and classroom dynamics
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young adults in an educational, sports coaching, or youth work setting with references
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- An enhanced child DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
- Right to work in the UK - Essential (sponsorship is not available with this role)
- Degree level education is desirable, but relevant experience is highly valued
- Being passionate about supporting secondary education
