About the Role
Help local secondary pupils maintain classroom momentum as a General Supply Teacher in Southend. In this role, you will cover lessons for short-term absences, ensuring pupils remain engaged with their pre-set work across various subject areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 classes through pre-planned curriculum tasks.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with individual school expectations.
- Support pupils with learning queries during set tasks.
- Return completed classwork and handover notes to department leads.
What You Need
- QTS/QTLS or recognised secondary teaching experience.
- Excellent group management skills and adaptability.
