Pay Rate: £150.00 - £200.00 per day (DOE)

About the Role
Are you a passionate Science Teacher looking for your next challenge in Southend? Randstad Education is seeking an enthusiastic specialist to deliver practical and theoretical Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 in local secondary schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach General Science at KS3 and your specialist area (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) at KS4.
- Deliver safe, engaging practical laboratory experiments.
- Monitor student progress and implement intervention strategies for target groups.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and academic discipline in line with school policies.
Requirements:
- QTS / QTLS with a degree in a relevant Science discipline.
- Proven track record of raising student attainment in Secondary Science.
- Essential: Safeguarding, Prevent, and Allergy Training completed within the last 12 months (or a commitment to complete these prior to placement to meet full GCA clearance standards, which Randstad is compliant with).
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or commitment to apply).
- Right to work in the UK.
