What We Are Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
Classroom Presence: The confidence to lead lessons across various subjects in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Adaptability: A positive, "can-do" attitude and the ability to build quick rapport with students.
Professionalism: A commitment to upholding the academy's high standards of conduct and academic rigour.
Safeguarding: A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Excellence: Lead pre-planned lessons across the secondary curriculum, ensuring students remain on-task and productive.
Uphold Standards: Maintain the academy's high expectations for student behavior and foster a focused learning environment.
Feedback: Complete brief handover notes for the returning teacher and ensure all work is collected at the end of the lesson.
Safety: Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all pupils in line with academy policies.
