We are currently recruiting for a motivated and caring and qualified Teacher to join an inclusive school in Luton, supporting children with a wide range of Special Educational Needs (SEN).

About the Role:

As an SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education tailored to meet the individual needs of students. You will work closely with colleagues, parents, and specialists to create a supportive and enriching learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the diverse learning needs of SEN students

• Develop, implement, and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for pupils, setting clear targets and monitoring progress

• Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to support students' learning and development

• Assess pupils' abilities and progress regularly, adapting teaching methods as necessary

• Collaborate with parents, carers, and external agencies (e.g., therapists, psychologists) to provide holistic support

• Manage classroom behaviour and promote positive social and emotional development

• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on pupil progress for parents and senior management

• Participate in professional development to stay updated on SEN best practices and legislation

What We're Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Strong understanding of SEN frameworks and effective teaching strategies

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to the needs of individual pupils
