Job Description: Randstad Education is looking for a high-calibre, QTS-qualified SEN Teacher to lead a classroom at our partner SEN High School. This is an exceptional opportunity to work within one of Manchester's premier specialist secondary schools, supporting pupils with severe learning difficulties (SLD) and Autism (ASC).
We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about differentiated instruction and has the resilience to manage high-support classroom environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver creative, highly differentiated lessons tailored to P-Levels and EHCP targets.
Lead a team of Teaching Assistants to provide holistic support for all learners.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and predictable learning environment.
Monitor student progress and liaise with parents and external agencies.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Enhanced Child & Adult DBS (on the Update Service).
Proven experience teaching in an SEN or SEMH setting.
Strong classroom management skills and knowledge of de-escalation techniques (Team Teach preferred).
- Mininum of 6 months UK schools experience.
