Are you a compassionate, resilient, and patient individual looking for a rewarding role in education? Whether you are seeking the ultimate flexibility of day-to-day supply or the consistency and stability of a long-term placement, we have opportunities to suit you.
We are recruiting dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants for daily and long-term roles at specialist schools, alternative provisions, and resource bases in Foxton and the surrounding area.
This role is ideal for experienced SEND professionals, support workers looking to transition into a school environment, or individuals with a genuine passion for supporting children with complex needs, including Autism (ASD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Choose the Path that Suits You:
Day-to-Day Supply: Take complete control of your schedule. Choose exactly which days you want to work to perfectly fit around your personal commitments, studies, or lifestyle.
Long-Term Placements: Enjoy the stability of working within a consistent class team for a term or a full academic year. Get to know the pupils' specific routines, communication styles, and individual education plans (IEPs) while making a lasting impact.
What We Are Looking For:
A patient, nurturing, and robust nature-specialist environments require high emotional resilience and a calm, reassuring demeanour.
Previous experience supporting children or adults with additional needs (experience with non-verbal communication, sensory processing, or de-escalation strategies is highly valued).
Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with class teachers, therapists, and parents.
An adaptable mindset, ready to step into different classrooms and quickly build a safe, positive rapport with pupils.
A valid Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).
What Is in it for You?
Competitive daily rates of pay, paid weekly into your account.
Free access to specialist training modules to boost your CPD (such as safeguarding, introductory autism awareness, and behaviour management).
A dedicated local consultant who understands the specialist education landscape in and around Foxton.
A brilliant opportunity to trial different local provisions, which is a fantastic way to find your ideal fit if you are ultimately looking for a permanent contract in the future.
