We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who not only possesses outstanding design flair but also has a proven track record in job running, confidently overseeing projects through every stage of their lifecycle.
The successful Interior Designer will have:
- Proven Experience: A solid portfolio demonstrating your expertise in interior design, particularly within large-scale residential (PBSA, BtR) and/or hospitality sectors.
- Job Running Acumen: Extensive experience in managing projects from initial briefing and concept development through to detailed design, technical documentation, tender, procurement, on-site supervision, and successful completion. You'll be comfortable with budgeting, scheduling, and managing external consultants and contractors.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong capabilities in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign; Revit experience is a significant advantage).
- Commercial Awareness: A deep understanding of how design impacts commercial viability and operational efficiency. You'll know how to balance creative vision with practical considerations and budget constraints.
- Client & Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, design teams, and construction professionals.
- Detail-Oriented: A meticulous eye for detail, ensuring the highest quality in all aspects of design and documentation.
- Problem-Solver: The ability to anticipate challenges and proactively find innovative and effective solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborative Spirit: A desire to contribute to a flat organisational structure where ideas are shared and debated to drive up design quality.
