We are seeking a highly competent and reliable Shift Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Abingdon. You will be responsible for the preventative and reactive maintenance of our facilities, working a 4 on 4 off days shift pattern. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to earn a competitive salary without the burden of out-of-hours callouts.
What You'll Do:
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance across a range of building services equipment (Please specify equipment here, e.g., HVAC systems, pumps, compressors etc.)
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
- Carry out repairs and installations of components and systems.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
What You'll Need:
- A proven track record as a Maintenance Engineer with a minimum of five years of experience.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ).
- Multi-skilled ability (mechanical and electrical skills are advantageous
