Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Multi-Skilled) - Day Shift

We are recruiting on behalf of a major FM service provider for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with supporting electrical skills to join their team on a large, static contract in Central London.
This role is ideal for a mechanically qualified engineer who is comfortable performing a range of M&E tasks in a modern commercial environment.
Salary: £45,000 - £46,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: Continental Days Only (4 on, 4 off, 7am - 7pm)
Location: Static commercial office site in Central London
Key Responsibilities:
Mechanical Maintenance: Lead on the planned and reactive maintenance of all mechanical plant, including Air Handling Units (AHUs), Fan Coil Units (FCUs), pumps, motors, calorifiers, and ventilation systems.
HVAC & Plumbing: Carry out service and repair work on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Respond effectively to plumbing issues such as leaks and blockages.
Fault-Finding: Utilise your strong diagnostic skills to identify and rectify faults within mechanical plant and building services systems.
Multi-Skilled Duties: Perform basic electrical fault-finding and repairs where necessary to support your primary mechanical duties, ensuring equipment is returned to service efficiently.
Compliance: Conduct regular plant room checks and maintain accurate service records to ensure statutory compliance.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Essential: Must hold an NVQ, City & Guilds Level 3, or equivalent apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing, or Heating & Ventilation.
Essential: A proven track record working as a Maintenance Engineer within a commercial building services or facilities management environment.
