Randstad seeks a technically proficient Site Engineer to support the delivery of a landmark civil engineering project within the renewable energy sector in East Anglia. This role is focused on the construction of a major substation for a new windfarm, requiring high levels of accuracy in setting out and the management of day-to-day site operations.

Key Responsibilities
Setting Out & Surveying: * Undertake core engineering duties with high precision, utilizing drawings, specifications, GPS, and Leica TS16 Total Station equipment.
Civil Works Delivery: * Deliver diverse external civil packages including roads, drainage, pavements, kerbs, and piling interfaces.
Technical Management: * Interpret and apply technical drawings and digital models.
Compliance & Quality: * Prepare and review QA documentation, including ITPs, RAMS, and task briefing sheets.
Site Coordination: * Liaise daily with subcontractors, supervisors, and the management team to ensure seamless productivity.
Person Specification
Technical Experience:
Proven experience in site engineering and setting out on major civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
Proficiency in Leica TS16 and GPS equipment is essential.
Strong knowledge of construction processes including drainage, earthworks, and reinforced concrete.
Familiarity with the energy sector is advantageous but not essential.
Skills & Qualifications:
Education: Degree, HND, or HNC in Civil Engineering (or a related discipline) is highly advantageous.
Certification: Valid CSCS Card is mandatory.
IT Skills: Comfortable using digital engineering tools and basic AutoCAD.
Attributes: A strong communicator who is proactive, safety-conscious, and committed to high-quality delivery.
