Sixth Form Manager (Liverpool)
We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Sixth Form Manager to join one of our schools in Liverpool. This pivotal role involves providing comprehensive administrative and pastoral support to our A-Level students and staff, ensuring a smooth and successful sixth form experience for all.
Pay: £18 per hour
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support for all aspects of the sixth form, including student admissions, enrolment, attendance monitoring, and record-keeping.
- Serve as a key point of contact for sixth form students, parents, and staff, managing inquiries and providing guidance on academic and pastoral matters.
- Support the Head of Sixth Form in the day-to-day management and operation of the department.
- Organise and manage key sixth form events, such as open evenings, induction days, parent-teacher meetings, and UCAS application workshops.
- Monitor student attendance, punctuality, and behaviour, implementing school policies as needed.
- Assist with the administration of student enrichment programs, work experience placements, and career guidance.
- Maintain confidential student files and data in compliance with school policies and data protection regulations.
- Contribute to creating a positive, supportive, and aspirations environment for all sixth form students.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven administrative experience, preferably within an educational or school setting.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with students, parents, and staff.
- A proactive and a can-do attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using school management information systems (MIS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- A strong understanding of the needs of sixth form students.
