Knowsley Council is looking for a compassionate and skilled Social Worker to join their Children with Disabilities Team. This is an excellent chance to positively impact the lives of children and young people with disabilities and their families, helping them achieve their full potential.
The Role:
As a Social Worker in the Children with Disabilities Team, your responsibilities will encompass managing a diverse caseload and offering expert support and guidance to children and young people with various disabilities. Your duties will include:
Assessments: Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and young people and their families.
Care Planning: Developing and implementing tailored care plans that promote independence, well-being, and positive outcomes.
Multi-Agency Working: Collaborating with health professionals, schools, charities, and other agencies to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach.
Advocacy: Championing the rights and needs of children with disabilities and their families, ensuring their voices are heard in all decision-making processes.
