Job Summary
Focus: Providing specialist support within the Court Team to ensure timely permanence for children.

Balance: A non-case holding position offering high levels of professional autonomy and manageable workstreams.

Duties & Responsibilities
Legal Expertise: Utilise expert knowledge of the Public Law Outline (PLO) and court processes to drive permanence planning.
Quality Assurance: Work alongside the Practice Improvement Team to embed learning from audits and ensure high-standard court documentation.
Relationship Management: Build swift, effective professional relationships with internal departments and external legal partners.
Service Improvement: Contribute to the Council's "journey to good" by identifying efficiencies within the court process.
Professional Development: Engage in reflective supervision every four weeks and participate in Signs of Safety group sessions.
Collaboration: Support the wider Children's Social Care department in achieving the Council's main priority: improving life chances for Knowsley's youth.
