We're looking for a talented and driven Solution Architect / Technical Consultant to join our high-performing Design Team. In this role, you'll take ownership of designing and delivering robust, scalable, and secure IT solutions across a diverse set of projects. You'll work closely with Product, Change, IT, and external vendors to ensure our technical architecture supports the bank's mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and document end-to-end solutions in line with British Business Bank design standards and the SDLC.
• Provide technical assurance and oversight on 3rd party vendor deliverables.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business domains to translate complex requirements into clear, practical solutions.
• Define and maintain architecture artefacts for on-premises and cloud environments.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Extensive experience designing infrastructure and application architectures in large enterprise settings.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, Azure cloud services, and enterprise networking (e.g., Cisco, Firewalls, SAN, Wi-Fi).
• Experience with M365/Office 365 platforms and integration patterns.
• Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders, translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Azure Solution Architect certification and familiarity with Cisco technologies are highly desirable.
  

What You'll Need:

• Degree-level education or equivalent experience.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Azure, CCNA, ITIL).
• Eligible to work in the UK and hold (or be able to obtain) UK SC clearance.
