Role: Teaching Assistant
Salary: £22,996 - £28,000 per Annum (Plus £1000 referral bonus)
Location: Kidderminster
Hours: 40 hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Teaching Assistant in Kidderminster. The role involves supporting teaching and learning, offering additional help to pupils with special educational needs, and carrying out administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Commitment to the role, the desire to put the child first and treat them as an individual
- Working towards Level 2 award in Support work in schools or an equivalent is desirable
- Be positive and creative in meeting pupils' needs
- GCSE Maths and English Level 2/C or above qualification is essential.
- Experience within an education setting
- Understanding of the Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures.
- Some experience of working with SEMH learners with complex needs and challenging behaviour in a school environment
- Full clean driving licence
Qualifications and Experience:
- A patient, caring and positive attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one
- Previous experience working with children in a school setting
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children is desirable
