Speech and Language Therapist Part-Time Opportunity
Seeking a passionate Part-Time Speech & Language Therapist! Join our growing specialist team and make a real impact.
About the role
We are a specialist school dedicated to supporting children with complex SEN needs. While primarily focused on autism, our students typically have a range of additional complex needs that impact their ability to engage, flourish, or even attend traditional school settings.
We opened in 2021 with just 3 students and have grown significantly to 20, with a waiting list of over 40 families. Our aspiration is to grow quickly to help as many families as we can, while carefully maintaining the high quality of our provision and our core values.
As part of our growth, we have expanded to offer a 1:1 provision through our dedicated alternative provision program, which supports children who are currently out of mainstream education.
As our Speech and Language Therapist, you will provide specialist assessments and bespoke therapeutic interventions to students in both our specialist school and our alternative provision program.
This is a vital role focused on delivering tailored 1:1 and small group therapy sessions. A key part of your work will be creating and maintaining concise overview profiles for each student. These profiles will outline their key needs and provide clear recommendations (linked to speech, communication, emotional regulation, and learning access) to help our staff best support students with a range of needs, including ADHD, Autism, and trauma backgrounds.
