Are you passionate about supporting students with autism and Specific Learning Difficulties (SPLDs)? We are seeking a dedicated and professional SPLD Tutor to join our academic support team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualised learning plans tailored to each student's unique academic needs.
- Guide students in utilising effective study strategies and techniques.
- Assess student progress on a regular basis and adapt learning plans accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate effectively with university staff to maintain a cohesive and supportive approach to student development.
- Utilise modern online teaching technologies to enhance the educational experience.
- Create engaging, personalised learning materials designed to support diverse learning styles.
Qualifications
- Proven professional experience working with students with SPLDs and Autism.
- Must possess a valid membership with one of the following: PATOSS, BDA, ADSHE, or The Dyslexia Guild (Associate, Member, or Fellow levels).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in utilising online teaching technologies and platforms.
- Strong organizational and time-management capabilities.
- Commitment to the principles of inclusive education and a genuine dedication to student achievement.
