Static Fabric Technician
Location: Derby
Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week | Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (No Call-Outs!)
Security Clearance: Police vetting required

We are recruiting a Fabric Technician on behalf of a leading Facilities Management provider in Derbyshire. Working alongside a team of specialists, you will take full ownership of the site's building fabric, delivering top-tier planned (PPM) and reactive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
Fabric Maintenance: Carry out ceiling repairs, painting, skirting replacement, door servicing, and FF&E refurbishment.
Fault Finding: Identify and diagnose building fabric, cladding, and structural issues.
Specialist Checks: Conduct fire door inspections and water hygiene testing (training provided).
Subcontractor Supervision: Oversee external contractors to ensure safe execution of works.
Site Operations: Monitor stock, read utility meters, and assist with general porterage, health & safety, and security checks.
Who We Are Looking For
Trade Background: A recognized qualification in Joinery or equivalent time-served experience (Fire Door experience is a plus).
Skills: Ability to read contract drawings/specifications; basic plumbing or electrical experience is highly advantageous.
Attributes: Self-motivated, reliable, and able to identify defects independently.
Requirements: Full UK driving license and willingness to undergo police vetting.
