We are partnering with a highly respected specialist sub-contractor to deliver a critical package of works in Central London. You will be the operational lead on site, ensuring that complex RC structures and civils packages are delivered safely, on time, and strictly in line with LUL standards.
The Project Scope:
- Complex Reinforced Concrete (RC) works in the "back of house" LUL station environment.
- General civil engineering packages.
- Logistically challenging shaft backfill operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving the day-to-day delivery of the RC and civils packages, managing both direct labor and specialist sub-contractors.
- Writing, reviewing, and implementing complex RAMS, ITPs, and Work Package Plans (WPPs) tailored to strict LUL standards.
- Managing QA/QC and ensuring top-tier engineering accuracy.
- Coordinating Temporary Works and lifting operations safely.
- Acting as the main point of contact on-site for the Principal Contractor and client representatives.
- Ensuring strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental protocols in a highly regulated, logistically tight underground environment.
What We're Looking For:
- A proven track record working as a Sub Agent or Senior Engineer ideally on LUL, TfL, or major rail station infrastructure projects.
- Strong technical experience in RC frameworks, heavy civils, and shaft works.

- Valid CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid.
- Degree, HND, or HNC in Civil Engineering.
- Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills.
The Package:
- £430 a day paid via CIS.
- Long-term freelance work on a high-profile Central London transport project.
