Key Requirements
To be considered for this early years role, you must meet the following criteria:
UK EYFS Teaching Experience: Essential. You must have recent, practical experience teaching within an EYFS setting (Nursery or Reception) in the UK, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the EYFS Statutory Framework and Development Matters.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): You must hold UK QTS or an equivalent recognised early years teaching qualification by September 2026. Applications from passionate ECTs are highly welcomed.
Phonics Knowledge: A strong working knowledge of systematic synthetic phonics programmes (such as Little Wandle, Read Write Inc., or Phonics International) and early maths concepts.
Child-Centred Approach: The ability to design and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences, manage free-flow outdoor learning, and carry out accurate formative observations.
