Key Requirements
To be successful within our KS1 cohorts, candidates must fulfill the following:
UK Key Stage 1 Experience: Essential. Recent experience teaching or completing placements within a UK Year 1 or Year 2 classroom, demonstrating a strong grasp of the KS1 National Curriculum.
Phonics Proficiency: Proven confidence delivering systematic synthetic phonics (e.g., Read Write Inc., Little Wandle) to prepare pupils effectively for the Year 1 Phonics Screening Check.
Recognised Teaching Qualification: Must hold UK QTS (or be on track for completion before September 2026). We warmly welcome applications from ambitious ECTs.
Compliance & Safeguarding: A valid Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one) and excellent professional references from your teaching placements.
