Are you a compassionate, patient, and proactive individual looking for a rewarding role in education? Whether you thrive on the complete flexibility of day-to-day supply or prefer the consistency of a long-term placement, we have fantastic opportunities tailored to your lifestyle.
We are currently partnering with specialised SEN schools and complex needs provisions located near Cromer and across the North Norfolk coast, supporting pupils aged 3 to 19. We are seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to support young people across all key stages with a range of additional needs, including severe learning difficulties, autism (ASC), and physical or medical needs.
Whether you are an experienced SEN specialist looking for a flexible schedule, or someone with transferable care, youth work, or childcare experience looking to step into a structured school setting, we want to hear from you.
Find Your Ideal Way of Working:
Day-to-Day Cover: Take complete control of your schedule. Choose exactly which days you want to work to perfectly fit around your personal commitments, studies, or lifestyle. It is a fantastic way to experience different specialised settings without any take-home responsibilities.
Long-Term Opportunities: If you prefer stability, we have fixed-term roles spanning a term or a full academic year. This is the perfect way to truly embed yourself within a local school team, build deep, meaningful bonds with the pupils, and see their developmental and academic progress.
Key Responsibilities:
Support pupils aged 3-19 on a 1:1 or small-group basis under the guidance of the classroom teacher or class lead.
Assist with both learning and care needs, which may include more specialised support in terms of behaviour or medical needs for those pupils who require it.
Your role will be to enable access to learning for each pupil and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.
Create a safe, positive, and sensory-friendly learning environment that caters to individual cognitive profiles.
Help pupils develop emotional regulation, communication, and independence skills across early years, primary, secondary, or post-16 frameworks.
What We Look For:
Experience working with children or young adults with complex needs (ASC, ADHD, SLD, or SEMH) is highly desirable, but a passionate and resilient attitude is essential.
Strong communication skills and a nurturing, patient approach to behaviour management.
An adaptable professional demeanour, ready to hit the ground running in new school environments.
A valid Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or a willingness to complete one immediately).
Benefits of Working With Us:
Competitive daily rates of pay, processed weekly and reflective of your experience level.
A completely transparent service that works strictly around your personal availability.
Access to fully funded CPD training modules, including statutory safeguarding updates.
A dedicated local consultant with deep knowledge of the North Norfolk specialist education sector.
