Salary: Grade 4 (£25,583-£25,989 per annum, pro rata)
Contract: Temporary, term-time only
Hours: 5 days per week, 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM (Option for extra hours via after-school clubs)

We are seeking a suitably experienced Teaching Assistant to join a successful and friendly 11-16 comprehensive co-educational school in Horsham. Working as a vital part of the school's Inclusion Team, you will promote the learning and personal development of students across all subject areas. This rewarding role focuses primarily on supporting students experiencing a variety of learning, emotional, and behavioural difficulties to help them achieve their personal best.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated classroom support and work directly with specific students.
- Promote learning and personal development for all students, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
- Foster a positive, safe, and productive learning environment.
What You Will Need:
- GCSE Maths and English at Grade A-C (or equivalent).
- Previous experience working within a school environment or directly with young people.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build robust relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- The ability to work effectively both as part of a team and on your own initiative.
