Randstad Education is urgently seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher for an immediate, long-term placement at a high-achieving secondary academy in Upper Norwood.

The Role
Position: Maths Teacher (KS3 & KS4).
Start Date: ASAP / Immediate Start.
Duration: Long-term contract (full academic year with permanent potential).
Location: Upper Norwood, London.
Daily Rate: £150 - £220 per day (Paid via PAYE, dependent on experience).

Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, engaging Mathematics lessons to KS3 and KS4 students starting immediately.
Quickly build rapport with students to maintain a safe and motivating learning environment.
Utilise the school's established curriculum to ensure continuity in student progress.
Collaborate with a supportive leadership team dedicated to staff well-being and professional growth.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Immediate availability (or a very short notice period).
Proven experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary level in the UK.
A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or readiness to fast-track a new application).
Strong classroom management skills and a "can-do" attitude.
