This is a full-time Science Teacher position starting ASAP. Requirements
... - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Strong references covering the last two years of employment.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and execute Science lessons that stimulate intellectual curiosity.
- Assessment & Feedback: Provide regular, constructive verbal and written feedback to guide student progress.
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to the design of an ambitious Science curriculum that revisits key concepts.
- Manage Misconceptions: Use tasks to identify and address student misunderstandings immediately.
- Behaviour Management: Maintain high expectations of behaviour using the school's established rewards and sanctions.
- Technology Integration: Utilise digital tools to enhance learning and accessibility.
- Data Analysis: Monitor student attainment data to identify and close learning gaps.
- Safeguarding: Actively promote the welfare and safety of all students in accordance with school policy.
- Parental Liaison: Communicate effectively with families regarding student achievement and well-being.
- Extracurricular Support: Contribute to the academy's enrichment program, such as STEM or ICT clubs.
