Are you a dedicated and inspiring SEN Teacher looking for a unique opportunity to make a real impact?
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a brand-new specialist school in Tokers Green that opened in November 2024. We are seeking a passionate teacher to become part of our expanding team, helping to shape the future of our school and the lives of the incredible young people we support.
Our school is dedicated to providing individualised, specialist education for young people aged 6-16 with Autism Spectrum Disorder and moderate to severe learning needs. We believe in creating a calm, caring, and purposeful environment where every child is valued and can achieve their full potential. This is a unique chance to be part of a new venture from the ground up, growing with us as we establish a centre of excellence.
About the Role:
As an SEN Teacher, you will be at the heart of our mission. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning, ensuring the progress and welfare of every student under your care. This is more than just a teaching role; it's an opportunity to lead. You will have the chance to take ownership of a curriculum area across the school, monitoring standards, contributing to school development, and providing professional support to your colleagues.
Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, you will play a vital role in the smooth running and continuous improvement of the school, helping to embed our core values in every aspect of daily life.
Who We Are Looking For:
We are looking for an exceptional individual who shares our core values and is committed to putting children first. The ideal candidate will:
- Value every child and be dedicated to understanding their individual needs.
- Demonstrate great patience and be an attentive listener.
- Focus on the positive and celebrate every achievement.
- Be resilient and able to support pupils through challenges.
- Be a mutually supportive team player with a good sense of humour.
- Believe in building strong, collaborative relationships with parents.
- Understand that to thrive, children need to feel secure, valued, and fully involved in their own education.
