Are you an inventive educator looking for an exciting teaching role following the half-term break to spark curiosity and drive pupil engagement?
Can you establish an ambitious, well-managed learning environment where high academic standards meet creative, accessible teaching strategies?
Are you interested in a consistent, full-time classroom post commencing post-half term, or flexible day-to-day supply bookings across Stevenage primary schools?

Whether you want the continuity of running your own classroom or the freedom of flexible supply, our partner school delivers an inspiring setting committed to academic achievement and pupil wellbeing.
Your Key Duties
- Adaptive Lesson Execution: Create and deliver rich, differentiated lessons tailored to the National Curriculum to support all learning styles (or dynamically adapt and teach pre-set class plans on supply days).
- Core Subject Excellence: Use practical apparatus, active numeracy methods, and modern synthetic phonics strategies to boost pupil attainment across core subjects.
- Classroom Team Guidance: Work collaboratively alongside room Teaching Assistants, directing support effectively to sustain an orderly, engaging, and safe workspace.
- Progress Tracking & Feedback: Employ formative assessment tools to review individual benchmarks, monitor learning gains, and celebrate student success.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Coordinate with the SENCO, phase leaders, and senior management to ensure tailored support plans are delivered for SEND and EAL pupils.
- Community Links & Clear Handovers: Maintain open, supportive dialogues with parents and carers for ongoing posts, or compile clear end-of-day handover notes after supply cover.
Candidate Profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Mandatory. We welcome applications from established teachers as well as ambitious Early Career Teachers (ECTs) with UK classroom experience.
- Curriculum Expertise: Strong working knowledge of primary national framework expectations, adaptive planning, and positive behaviour management.
- Patience & Versatility: A calm, adaptable, and composed approach that maintains high engagement whether leading a settled class or stepping into unfamiliar classrooms on supply.
- Team-First Ethos: A collaborative mindset committed to whole-school success, child safeguarding, and student welfare.
- Vetting & Compliance: Holds an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service (or readiness to complete a new check through Randstad).
