About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and students within the classroom. Your responsibilities may include:
- Providing one-on-one or small group support to students.
- Assisting with the preparation of learning materials and classroom displays.
- Helping to manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning atmosphere.
- Supporting students with their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Assisting students with special educational needs (SEN) where applicable.
- Supervising students during activities, break times, and trips.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has experience working with children or young people, ideally within an educational setting.
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is patient, empathetic, and understanding.
- Is proactive, adaptable, and a good team player.
- Holds a relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification (e.g., Teaching Assistant, Childcare, Education) is desirable but not essential - a passion for supporting learning is key!
- Has a genuine desire to contribute to the development and well-being of students.
