Are you an adaptable, energetic Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role this autumn? We are seeking a proactive Secondary Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive modern school in Battersea on a short-term cover basis starting this October.

Role Overview:
- General Classroom Support: Assist subject teachers across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (ages 11-16) in maintaining an engaging, focused learning environment.
- Targeted Student Support: Work 1:1 or with small groups of students who require extra help with literacy, numeracy, or behavioural focus.
- Inclusion & SEN Support: Help ensure learning materials are accessible to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Positive Behaviour Management: Model positive behaviour, encourage active participation, and help keep students on task throughout the school day.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience working with secondary-age students (11-16) in an educational, youth work, or mentoring environment.
- Strong communication, literacy, and numeracy skills.
- A patient, adaptable, and resilient approach to supporting teenagers with varying learning needs.
- An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Full right to work in the UK.
