Safeguarding and Prevent
Our secondary school faculties across Bootle are looking for grounded, proactive Secondary Teaching Assistants (TAs) to help manage lesson momentum and guide Key Stage 3 and 4 students through daily tasks.
Whether you want a consistent term-time schedule or total weekly flexibility, immediate openings are available across Bootle, Linacre, Derby, and Orrell.
Key Duties:
- Support individual students and small groups during Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 lessons.
- Help students understand class tasks and stay focused on their learning.
- Maintain a positive, productive environment using calm behaviour strategies.
- Assist the class teacher with setting up learning activities and resources.
- Provide quick, clear feedback to the teacher on student progress at the end of the lesson.
Requirements:
- Recent experience supporting young people in secondary schools, youth work, or care settings.
- Strong communication skills and a patient, resilient approach.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or readiness to apply for one with us).
