Are you an enthusiastic and adaptable Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work across Bristol and the surrounding areas? We are currently recruiting reliable professionals to support local primary, secondary, and SEN schools. Responsibilities:- Support class teachers with daily classroom management and the delivery of engaging lessons.
- Work 1-to-1 or in small groups with pupils requiring extra learning or behavioural support.
- Encourage student engagement, boost confidence, and promote positive behaviour throughout the school day.
- Help create and maintain an inclusive, safe, and positive learning environment for all students.
- Assist with task differentiation to meet the needs of pupils with varied learning requirements, including those with SEN.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 months of UK classroom experience is required.
- Checks: You must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one immediately.
- Availability: Must be free to work between 8:30 AM and 3:30 PM on full-school-day bookings.
- Core Skills: You possess strong communication skills, patience, adaptability, and a proactive, dedicated attitude.
- Travel: You are based in or are easily able to commute across Bristol and surrounding areas, including South Gloucestershire, North Somerset, and BANES.
- Competitive Pay: Earn between £92.56 - £95.00 per day, paid weekly.
- Work-Life Balance: Enjoy fixed daytime hours (8:30 AM - 3:30 PM) with no weekend or evening work required.
- Flexibility: Choose from a variety of day-to-day, short-term, and long-term contracts that suit your schedule.
