The Role
You will be working with students aged 11 to 16 years who primarily have communication and interaction difficulties, specific learning difficulties (such as dyslexia), or may be on the autistic spectrum.
Key Benefits:
Small Class Sizes: Maximum of 10 students per class, supported by a minimum of 3 staff at all times.
Supportive Team: Work alongside teachers and a full onsite clinical and therapy team.
Focus: Create an enabling environment that encourages students to engage with their social and academic surroundings.
Key Duties Include:
Establishing a warm and supportive relationship with pupils to promote well-being and engagement.
Supporting the Class Teacher in the day-to-day running of the classroom and delivering differentiated activities.
Promoting independence, personal development, and maintaining high expectations of behaviour.
Collaborating effectively within a multi-professional team.
