... - A leading provider of specialist care and education is recruiting for an additional Team Leader to join an Ofsted-registered children's home. The home is part of a specialist school supporting young people aged 8 to 18 with a range of Autistic Spectrum and associated complex needs on a full-time, residential basis.

Purpose of the Role:
- The core purpose of this role is to lead a dedicated team of care staff to maintain a stable, happy, and caring environment that puts the health, safety, and welfare of our young people first. The emphasis is on the effective management of your team, which involves motivating, coaching, and managing performance through supervision and appraisal.
- This is a critical role in ensuring that 'The Children's Home Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards' are exceeded and provides an excellent opportunity to develop and improve practice.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience leading, managing, and supervising a team within a care or learning support setting.
- Significant experience working effectively with young people who have learning disabilities and/or special needs.
- A good knowledge of learning disabilities, special needs, and recent developments in the field.
- Strong knowledge of recognized positive approaches for working with challenging behaviours.
- Experience with person-centred planning and organizing activities to meet young people's needs and achieve positive outcomes
- A solid understanding of relevant regulatory standards and legislation.
Essential Requirement:
- Applicants must hold a minimum of a Level 3 RQF in Child and Young Person's Workforce qualification or an equivalent.
