Job Description
Randstad CPE are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Traffic Marshall for an immediate start on a high-profile construction project in West Thamesmead (SE28).
This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for a dedicated individual looking for steady, ongoing work with a highly respected contractor.
As a Traffic Marshall, you will be the eyes and ears of the site entrance. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring the safe movement of large delivery vehicles, plant, and pedestrians both on and off-site.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely directing and controlling site traffic and delivery vehicles.
Liaising with delivery drivers and site management to schedule arrivals.
Ensuring the main gates are kept secure and pedestrian safety is maintained at all times.
Adhering strictly to health and safety regulations on-site.
Requirements:
Qualifications: Valid CPCS or NPORS Traffic Marshall / Vehicle Marshall ticket.
Experience: Proven experience working as a Traffic Marshall on busy construction sites. Previous experience working on Ministry of Justice (MOJ) or high-security projects is highly ideal.
Background Check: A clean criminal record is essential. Holding a valid DBS certificate is highly desirable due to the nature of the site.
Equipment: Must have your own full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis jacket/trousers, and steel toe cap boots).
Reliability: Excellent communication skills, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
