Job Title: Traffic Marshall
Location: Welwyn Garden City
Duration: 6 Months
Hours: 45 hours per week (Monday - Friday)
Duties & Responsibilities
- Traffic Control: Direct site traffic, heavy plant, and delivery vehicles safely into, around, and out of the site.
- Gate Management: Operate the site access gate, check incoming vehicles, and log deliveries.
- Pedestrian Safety: Maintain clear segregation between moving vehicles, site operatives, and the public.
- Driver Coordination: Guide drivers using standard hand signals and radio equipment to minimize site congestion.
- Safety Enforcement: Ensure visiting drivers abide by site speed limits, parking rules, and mandatory PPE regulations.
Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card
- Valid Traffic Marshall / Vehicle Banksman ticket
- Full PPE (Hi-vis vest/trousers, hard hat, steel toe-cap boots)
- Right to work in the UK
