Job Title: Visual Inspector

Location: Swindon
Contract: 12 Months
Hours: 37.50 hours per week.
Schedule: Monday to Friday. 07:00-15:00 and 15:00-23:00 rotating
Compensation: £13.86 per hour, plus a 22% shift allowance (£16.91 p/h).
What You Will Be Doing:
- Performing manual visual inspections of filled vials under controlled conditions, including the use of appropriate lighting and inspection booths.
- Detecting and rejecting defective units that have visible particles, cosmetic defects (like scratches, cracks, or chips), fill volume issues, or container closure integrity concerns.
- Segregating accepted and rejected units correctly.
- Accurately documenting your inspection results in accordance with Good Documentation Practice (GDP).
- Reporting any abnormalities or trends to supervision.
- Following approved SOPs and batch records while strictly adhering to GMP and Data Integrity (DI) principles.
- Participating in qualification and periodic vision checks, as well as pre-shift gowning and wearing provided PPE.
What We Are Looking For:
- A strong ability to maintain high concentration and consistency over extended periods.
- Good visual acuity, and the ability to pass a visual check (with or without correction).
- Elementary (GCSE) level mathematics and English.
- An understanding of GMP, GDP, and Data Integrity basics.
- A highly detail-oriented and self-driven attitude.
- Preferred but not essential: Previous experience working in pharmaceutical, food, or other regulated production operations.
