Are you an experienced and proactive Voids Supervisor looking for a new challenge? Randstad is looking for a dedicated individual to join a leading housing team based in Leeds.
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a vital team within a defined project or work stream, driving exceptional service standards and achieving key performance indicators. You'll play a crucial role in assessing resource requirements, managing daily operations, and ensuring all team objectives are met within time, cost, and budget constraints.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Leading and motivating a team, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities.
- Managing team performance in line with company policy, including conducting regular review meetings.
- Coaching, mentoring, and developing staff, identifying and addressing any development needs.
- Resolving complaints promptly, informing management, and implementing action plans to address dissatisfaction.
- Ensuring the delivery of excellent service standards and the achievement of KPIs.
- Assessing resource requirements and supporting the day-to-day management of team activities.
What We're Looking For:
- Significant technical knowledge and extensive proven experience in a similar role.
- Sound knowledge of construction methods, technology, and materials.
- A Level 3 trade or Supervisor NVQ.
- A Gold CSCS card.
- Excellent time management and IT skills.
- A proactive, flexible approach with great influencing skills.
- A compelling track record in asset/project management and delivering major works contracts.
- A strong sense of ownership and responsibility, committed to collaborative working.
- A full UK driving licence is held for a minimum of 12 months.
